No, it is not necessary. All the skills and knowledge required for the profession will be gained during the course.

Certainly! Through training programs offered by our affiliated schools, graduates will acquire all the necessary skills and qualifications to commence their career as a professional pilot. However, it's important to note that some airlines may have more stringent requirements, such as age limitations or minimum flight hour criteria. These specifications vary among airlines and are contingent on the industry's current circumstances. Nonetheless, armed with the license obtained through our program, graduates should be well-equipped to pursue employment as a commercial pilot.

There is no upper age limit to become a commercial pilot. However, to serve as an airline pilot, the maximum age is set at 65 years. Beyond this age, alternative roles such as flight instruction are still viable. It is recommended to initiate training at the earliest opportunity to maximize the years available for working as a pilot and fully embracing this remarkable profession.

The major international body responsible for setting standards for pilot training and licensing is the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Depending on the course location, you will receive either EASA or FAA pilot license. Possessing either of these licenses allows students to apply for positions in any country. Holding these esteemed licenses opens up a world of opportunities for pilots.

It's essential for aspiring pilots and aviation professionals to be familiar with the specific regulations and standards established by the relevant aviation authorities in the region where they plan to operate. For you to work in Nepal as a commercial pilot, you will need License Conversion: For e.g. if you’ve completed your pilot training from the Philippines and hold a (CAAP license), you will need to convert it to CAAN license. The specific requirements and procedures for converting a pilot license from the Philippines (CAAP license) or any other country to Nepal (CAAN license) may have changed, and it's crucial to check with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN)  for the most up-to-date information. Keep in mind that aviation regulations are subject to change, and it's essential to verify the latest requirements.

The income of a pilot fluctuates based on the country of employment and the specific airline. Generally, a pilot's salary stands above the average for professions with comparable educational requirements. This remuneration disparity is influenced by diverse factors such as regional economic conditions, the aviation industry's demand and supply dynamics, and individual airline policies. Despite these variations, the compensation package for pilots tends to surpass that of many other occupations demanding similar levels of academic qualifications.

The aviation sector recognizes the unique skill set and responsibilities associated with piloting, contributing to the generally elevated earning potential for individuals pursuing a career in this field.

The nature of a pilot's role is highly contingent on their specific functions. A commercial pilot's responsibilities may encompass transporting passengers or cargo, providing flight instruction at a flight school, conducting aerial activities like skydiving or banner towing, or piloting business jets, among other possibilities. Stringent safety regulations dictate monthly and yearly limitations on flight hours. Moreover, individual companies institute their own operational procedures that pilots must adhere to. Despite operating within a heavily regulated industry, being a pilot entails a dynamically evolving job.

To start your CPL or ATPL course, you will need to be eligible to possess a Class 1 medical certificate. The Class 1 medical exam is a very thorough check-up that will assess any congenital chronical diseases or medical problems that can prevent you to safely operate as a professional pilot. These exams must be revalidated every year until the pilot is 40 years old and every 6 months after that. They can only be issued by approved medical institutes.

Health evaluations are employed to gauge your bodily well-being and, in the case of any existing medical conditions, to determine how these conditions and their corresponding treatments might impact the safety of air navigation. To learn more about medical assessments in Nepal, please visit the CAAN website .

Pilot training is a step-by-step process that encompasses acquiring the necessary skills and experience to operate a variety of aircraft, ranging from single to multi-engine. This progression includes obtaining different instruments and operation ratings. It's important to note that Pilots can only fly airplanes appropriate to their license and rating type.

Additionally, as all courses are delivered in English, students automatically attain ICAO Level 4 Aviation English proficiency. It's worth noting that certain partner training schools may require candidates to undergo English assessments, such as IELTS, and achieve a minimum score of 6 bands in each test.
